February SMPS Program – Twice the Revenue, Half the Effort - The Optimal Marketing and BD Formula (2.12.19)

In the AEC industry it can be difficult to find the optimal formula to engage both marketing and business development teams to efficiently drive revenue in the door. During this program we will hear a case study from one of the fastest growing private firms in the United States over the past six years, according to Inc. Magazine. Sara Snavely and Tim Klabunde with Timmons Group will share how they leverage marketing and business development to exponentially drive revenues, and the proven structure and philosophy that you can implement at your firm to create an effective marketing and business development machine.  Learning Outcomes: 1)                Learn the number one thing that encourages marketing and business development professionals to work together 2)                Discover how leveraging the unique roles of marketing and business development will limit conflicts and ensure everyone understands what they should be doing 3)                Create a plan for the next twelve months applying lessons learned from fellow professional services marketers to increase your firms’ revenues Sara Snavely, CPSM Sara Snavely, CPSM is a business development manager for Timmons Group where she helps build relationships and brand awareness in their North Carolina markets. After graduating from Hillsdale College with a degree in marketing/business management, Sara fell into the AEC industry (imagine that…) where she quickly worked her way from an admin to marketing to a business development role. Sara is an expert in relationship building and relating it to multi-channel marketing that supports it. Sara plays an active role in her SMPS community (Charlotte chapter), serving as Co-Director of Programs and obtaining her CPSM certification.
