Drunk on Flavor, An Introduction to Mocktails

Drunk on Flavor Level 1: Have you quit drinking and are tired of having to resort to seltzer water? Do you want to try new healthy concoctions, and spice up your juice and water?  This mocktail class is for you where you can learn how to make flavorful fancy drinks for the whole family!  I will be teaching you the art of making mocktails.  You will be introduced to different flavor profiles, what is considered a balanced drink and how to make tinctures, infusions, simple syrups, kombuchas and shrubs. We will also learn about techniques, glasses, and garnishes. Spice up your next party with some drinks everyone will remember.  This class is for ages 14 and up. Your instructor: Beth Small is a native Upstate New Yorker enjoying the beautiful canvas that is North Carolina. She is passionate about growing and finding the multiple benefits and uses of the natural world, whether it is through making scrubs, and essential oils, or finding odd and delectable flavorings of the Earth for mocktails and Kombucha. In her spare time, she cosplays, plays with her multiple animals and critters, and loves to fish and create. Explore the extensive world of your backyard and how to benefit your mind and body with these herbs and plants.
